Creating Vision & Why It Is Important

Vision. What is it? How do you get it? I am a big believer in intuition and going with your gut to craft the life you were meant to live. It is important to take the time to step back and see a clear vision for your life. I also encourage you to do this as a family or with your significant other who is part of your journey. I like to do this with others who know me well. We have a tendency not to dream as big as we should and those closes to us can push us and hold us accountable. If there are certain aspects of your life that are clear and others that are not, focus on the clearness and just continue paving your way forward!

Here is a peek of my vision board for 2019 and how I vision board. I am also sharing Jennys, (my business partner with STARTplanner). I wanted to show you that there are many ways you can create a vision board and there is no right or wrong way to do it! I thought it would be a good way to share inspiration.

Create a vision and go for it! There is no better time than right now!

I write out different areas of my life that I want to focus on. For me this year I have.

Kids. Love. Self-Care. Career. Growth. Health. Live.

START is always my word, in addition, I have Simplify as a big theme this year and listed out areas of my life that I need/want to simplify.

I break up the sections and put goals under each of them. I think to print out, pull pictures or things around the house/office that coordinate with the goals.

Here is a little peek.

And here is Jennys… which as you can tell she is the designer! I totally print mine out! The point is there is no wrong or right here. You can always write a letter to yourself, use magazines, etc.

How pretty right?

I think your vision board should be revisited monthly to make sure it still aligns., To me one of the hardest things is the inability to see a clear vision. That is diabilitbating. So if this is something you are struggling with. Ask for help. Help is not a weak or dirty word!

My hope and prayer for you is that for 2019…. you see a clear vision and fearlessly follow your heart to your happiest/highest self! We only have one life. Make 2019 one that you look back on and remember.
